An old king wishes to give up his throne and retire. He demands that each of his three daughters tell him how much she loves him, so that he can divide his inheritance between them. His two oldest daughters flatter him with empty words, but his youngest daughter tells him she loves him like salt... so the king chases her away and disinherits her. A powerful magician, more human than goddess, Circe, daughter of the sun god, is misunderstood by her divine parents and feared by humans. With one foot in each world, it's up to her to find her place.
