By car, train, plane, taxi or even by bike, you’ll find plenty of ways to reach our beautiful region, situated in the heart of the Landes, between the ocean and the forest.

NEW: a luggage storage service is now available:

from September to 5 July: at the inter-municipal tourist office in Mimizan Plage during its opening days and hours

from 6 July to 23 August: every day from 11am to 6pm

By train

The 2 nearest stations to Mimizan (Trains Express Régionaux) :

Labouheyre station (27 km)

Direct trains from Bordeaux, Bayonne and Mont de Marsan.
This station is linked by bus to Mimizan on weekdays from September to early July and every day from the July school vacations to the end of August.

Bordeaux – St Jean train station (120 km)

Direct trains from Lyon, Paris, Nantes, Angoulême, Toulouse, etc.

By bus

RDTL bus route no. 513 between Mimizan Plage and Labouheyre (SNCF train station) also serves the villages of Aureilhan, St Paul en Born and Pontenx les Forges. There’s also a summer bus service between Mont de Marsan and Mimizan Plage, RDTLline 454. During the tourist season, there’s also a bus service to Mimizan via Paris and Bordeaux, which should be operational by the end of June: the BlaBlaBus.
