40 km of signposted, well-maintained footpaths are available in the villages of Bias, Mézos, Mimizan, St Paul en Born and Pontenx les Forges. A wide variety of trails to satisfy the desires of hikers or those looking for a short family stroll: local loops including the famous Promenade Fleurie on the shores of Lake Aureilhan – Mimizan, trails listed in the Plan Départemental d’Itinéraire de Promenade et de Randonnée, discovery trails, not forgetting the coastal route of St Jacques de Compostelle which passes through Mimizan.
